A very wise person once told me, ‘there is nothing to lose by trying. But there is something to lose by not trying, and that is opportunity.’
Well what do you expect me to write in this piece? If you are reading this and looking for a recipe for a bizarre concoction, you are wrong. Or if you expect to find plenty of word vomit, you are still wrong. Perhaps I am not the most worthy person to speak on this issue. I’ve had falls and my share of downs. I have had bitter moments and come close to smelling the sweetness of winning only to lose in the last moment. I am not perfect. I am not a mighty character. Some work alone or as part of a team. They attempt to satisfy consumer desire for aesthetically designed clothing; and, because of the time required to bring a garment onto the market, must at times anticipate changing consumer tastes.

His Excellency, Dr. Joseph V.G, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Maldives in Bangalore and Chairman, Garden City Group of Institutions graced the occasion with his illuminating presence. On lighting of the ceremonial lamp, he officially released the logo of PURV. The alumni were quite a blend of recent and old batches of students who had graduated from Garden City College. Some students even date back to the formative years of Garden City College and they shared their experiences of life back then; as the ambience encapsulated the essence of nostalgia. (more…)
